Today was the first day of Human Geo. We learned about the three different types of maps, Political, Physical, and Thematical. Political maps show the borders between different countries, states, governments, etc. Physical maps show how the land looks from a bird's eye view. Thematical maps show the distribution of human or natural features. They also usually "tell a story".
